“ Our camping group goes there for lunch every year on Derby Day. Some of us go particularly for the breaded and deep-fried bullheads. The meal comes with a cup of chowder, fries and coleslaw. First let’s talk quantity. You get 3 nice sized fish, ample fries, and, unlike so many restaurants, a nice portion of coleslaw. Now the quality: the breading perfectly seasoned and not overly salty. The fish is fried to perfection; crisp on the outside and moist and delicious inside. The fries are also nicely crispy. The coleslaw with its small shred is a wonderful counterpoint to the fried food. The NE clam chowder was likewise delicious. Those who had something besides the bullheads liked their meals as well. This restaurant is a lovely little secret in Wolcott. ”
